Puente Connection Summer Programs Application

This exciting 3-day, 2-night program is designed for Puentista community college students aspiring to attend a University of California campus, particularly UCRiverside. Participants will experience an immersive introduction to UC life, exploring academic opportunities, cultural communities, and social resources. Through interactive workshops and engaging activities, students will gain the knowledge, support, and confidence to navigate the transfer process.

The Puente Connection - Transfer Success Summit will take place Wednesday, July 16, 2025 to Friday, July 18, 2025 at UC Riverside.

Program Eligibility:

Enrollment Status: Must be currently enrolled and in academic good-standing at a California Community College student with at least 12 completed units by the end of Spring prior to summer programming
GPA Requirement: Minimum transferable GPA of 2.4
Intent to Transfer: Must demonstrate intent to transfer to a four-year university within 1-2 years
Submit Application
Commitment Requirement*: Participants must fully engage in all required pre/post-program activities.
Participation in Puente Project at their community college
One - virtual information session
Complete TAP account
Schedule (1) one-one advising session with a UCR admission counselor
*Transportation not provided. Participants are asked to be dropped off/picked up*
