The Sankofa Experience is an immersive summer program at UC Irvine designed to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and support systems necessary for success in a University of California environment. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community-building, participants will engage in academic and personal growth while developing leadership skills for their future endeavors.
This program offers a journey of reflection and preparation, empowering students to take the next steps toward becoming leaders in higher education and beyond.
The Sankofa Experience will take place from Sunday, August 2, 2026, to Friday, August 7, 2026 at UC Irvine.
